K2 in Winter

K2 Summit in Winter is really very hard for mountaineers; even supposed impossible for any human to do it where no calculations work, no professional acts and no efforts can take you to peak. But Hold On! recently a group of strong Nepalese mountaineers have successfully completed a winter attempt on the summit K2.

Brother to brother, shoulder to shoulder, we walked together to the summit whilst singing the Nepali national anthem. We all stopped around 10m before reaching the summit to huddle and make our final steps together as a team to mark this historical feat .. 1/4 #K2winter pic.twitter.com/P2kCwRy1Vn

The man leading this group namely Nirmal Purja is very happy for the warm welcome that peolpe of Pakistan did on their arrival. See his following tweet about this;

He further said 'smaller things matter in big mountains. He said; he is very happy from the support team including cooks, logistics, camping and porters. All these things are the backbone of reaching heights where every things seems difficult from wearing heavy jackets, coats, shoes to carrying bags and climbing things. The wearing jackets are not like bomber jacket; they are very heavy and warm clothing apparel for climbing mountains.
